Widgets can be added to pages to act like containers that hold specific types of information (e.g. files, text, photos, links, contacts, events/dates, etc).
Much like the way you can customize your Google homepage with widgets that show you weather, news and sports scores, you can customize your workspaces by adding business widgets for file sharing, calendars, etc.
Here is a current list of widgets that can be added to your workspaces:
Activity
Shows you the most recent activity in your workspace so you can quickly decide which information you should look at first.
Calendar
Notify everyone on your team of upcoming meetings, events and training by adding a calendar to your page. You can also create team vacation calendars and corporate holiday calendars.
Comments
Add threaded comments to your workspace, so workspace members can add comments/messages to keep each other informed.
Contacts
Add contact information for those working on a workspace.
Files
Advanced document storage with the ability to upload any file type, upload multiple files, and quickly move or copy files between Files Widgets.
Image
Add images to your workspace like team photos, photos for biographies, artwork for a customer, or to add visual interest to your page.
Links
Add links to other important websites that help keep your projects running smoothly or even to your other workspaces.
RSS
Subscribe to the RSS feed for your favorite blog or news site and display it in your workspace.
Tasks
Keep track of project milestones, give them priorities and assign owners.
Video
Upload source video files directly to Onehub or embed videos from popular video sharing websites. Onehub accepts videos in all major formats including .WMV, .AVI, .MOV, MPEG, .MP4, DivX, .FLV, and .OGG as well as embed code from YouTube, Vimeo, or Viddler.
Wiki
Add text, lists, links, images and tables to your workspace with an easy to use WYSIWYG editor. Each time you edit a Wiki, a new revision is automatically created for you. Customize the fonts, sizes and colors. It's easy to edit and format.
